New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed that various government agencies and ministries hire 10 lakh workers on a “mission mode” during the next year and a half.
Prime Minister Modi’s directive came after an assessment of the state of human resources in all government departments and ministries, according to the Prime Minister’s Office, or PMO.

The government’s decision comes despite continuous criticism from the opposition on the subject of unemployment. A huge number of unfilled positions in various government sectors have frequently been identified.
