Bhushan Kumar, a film producer, offered his opinion on celebrities raising their prices and the influence on films. He further stated that stars such as Kartik Aaryan have always been supportive in this matter. They recently worked together on Annes Bazmee’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was a box office hit. Tabu and Kiara Advani also appear in the flick.
Kartik got caught up in rumours regarding his price raise following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He reportedly increased his compensation to 35-40 crore every picture. Soon later, the actor rejected such conjecture as “baseless.” “Promotion hua hai life mein Increase nahi,” he remarked (I’ve been promoted in life, but haven’t gotten my increment).
Regarding the never-ending problem of actors increasing their prices, Bhushan told Pinkvilla that film producers frequently lower their budgets due to the high costs requested by stars. “Actors should maintain their remuneration according per the film,” he stated, citing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. “Actors should be helpful at the end of the day.” Kartik has always been like way. We were facing some issues with our next picture, Shehzada. But Kartik stood by us and said us, ‘I’m here for you.’ We’ll figure it out together.’ He also helped us monetarily,” he continued.
Kartik and Kriti Sanon feature in Shehzada. It is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Aman Gill, and Allu Aravind under T-Series Films, Allu Entertainment, Haarika and Hassine Creations, and Brat Films. Earlier, it was reported that Kartik had threatened to leave his next film Shehzada.
The claims surfaced when Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s producers chose to release the Hindi version in theatres. The official remake of the Telugu film is Shehzada. According to reports, Kartik was concerned that the re-release of the original would harm his film ambitions.
