Meesho, a SoftBank and Meta-backed e-commerce business, received 5.35 million orders during its one-day sale event, representing a five-fold increase year on year.

Meesho received 1 million orders during their “Maha Indian Savings Sale” on June 6, last year.

According to the announcement, almost 26,000 new merchants participated in the sale event.
