Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan praised actor R. Madhavan’s directorial debut, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, and he reacted by calling him “my particular hero.” Hrithik claimed that because he has not yet seen the movie, he is suffering from FOMO (fear of missing out).

Hrithik took to Twitter and wrote about the film, “The brilliant word-of-mouth for #RocketryTheNambiEffect has left me with FOMO! So happy for my friend @ActorMadhavan  who gave it his heart and soul. Congratulations on your directorial debut Maddy & the entire team of Rocketry. Can’t wait to watch this in theatre!”

When Hrithik thanked him, Madhavan said, “Thanks buddy, but this is another level. It means the world to team Rocketry and I. I have always been in awe of your kindness. You are and always will be my very own hero.

The movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which debuted in theatres on July 1, was both directed and starred by R Madhavan. The movie’s box office performance sputtered at first but has since perked up. Box Office India reports that the movie has made almost Rs 5 crore in only a few days.

“Rocketry (Hindi) exhibited a surge that was sort of predicted as Mumbai city was struck by severe rain on Monday, which was less of an issue on Tuesday and a large portion of this film’s business is coming from Mumbai city,” said the distributor. The movie’s current gross receipts are about 5.25 crore net, and the first week should bring in 6.25–6.50 crore net, according to the report.
Six languages were used for the film’s international distribution. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya make special cameo appearances, along with Madhavan, Simran, Ravi Raghavendra, and Misha Ghoshal. The real-life scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongfully accused of espionage in 1994, is the inspiration for the movie. The Supreme Court cleared him of all charges after a protracted and tumultuous trial.
