CHICAGO, UNITED STATES: Authorities say three individuals were shot and injured in a suburb west of Chicago on Friday.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a guy was sitting in a parked car with a lady standing outside his driver side window when both were shot at around 10:15 p.m. in South Austin, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
According to authorities, the guy, 34, was shot twice in the neck and was transported to the hospital in serious condition, while the lady, 31, was wounded in the elbow and was in excellent health.
According to authorities, a third individual, a 32-year-old guy, was driving down the street when the incident happened and was also hit by bullets. He was also brought to the hospital and is doing well.
No other information regarding the shooting was immediately available. There was no one in detention.
